We thank all of you who have trusted us to host your kayaking adventure! We are enjoying busy weekends and super river conditions this season so please book a trip when you are ready for some relaxation with a drop of adventure.
It has been an interesting year as the river levels have been pleasantly consistent. We have just enough rain to keep the level almost perfect most of this season and as I write this blog the river is flowing just under 1,000 cubic feet per second. From my perspective those are just super conditions for river kayaking. The water level and flow rate is amazing for the last half of July so come out and enjoy the Kalamazoo River.
We haven’t had any alligator sighting below the Morrow Dam so don’t worry about that when coming to Plainwell! The report from Albion, Michigan sure made the news and many have joked about it to us. What we do have in the river are plenty of fish!
Allen Campbell has started a company; Campbell Outfitters. He will host you and your friends on the river for some terrific sport fishing. Allen’s website will be linked to our site soon!!
