We have had a good first few days of business this year and want to convey that the river is low but it is flowing. Reports from folks from the “D Ave.” to Plainwell and onward to Otsego are that they enjoying the kayak trips. We do however need rain to keep the rivers flowing!
Right now we are encouraging everyone to take the Mill Race vs. the spillway to back to Plainwell from D Ave. The rocks on the spillway are exposed and can damage your kayaks and ours.
In early June we usually are writing notes about how fast the river is flowing and to be careful or wait till the waters calm down. Know that we are always thinking of the health and safety of our customers. Give us a call and we will share what we know about the river conditions on the routes we offer.
